| We're looking for more pictures to add to the slide show on the home page. If you've taken a picture at one of our recent activity days, or in the classroom - and you think it shows our school spirit, email a copy of it to Michelle Chang at changm@sfusd.edu
She'll check to make sure we have media waivers for any students shown, then forward it on to the web site team to post. They are hoping to refresh the slide show every month or so.
What makes a good picture for the site? Well, It should be a close up that shows students, parents or teachers. It should be at least 640x480 pixels. It should be clear. It should be fun!

San Francisco families with children ages 0 to 18 years old enjoy 32 of San Francisco’s world class museums and attractions FREE on Sunday, January 11. There is something for every one in every corner of the city including Fisherman’s Wharf, the Presidio, Golden Gate Park, Yerba Buena, and Civic Center venues. Adults must show proof they live in San Francisco and accompany children. Free entrance times vary by location. MUNI transfers are good all day on Sunday and kids ride MUNI and the SF Culture Bus FREE from 10:00 am–4:00 pm when accompanied by a paying adult, which makes this a great day out for all families.

| Last week, the City approved the school's request to extend the Vicente Gate white zone to cover the entire length of the block. The City’s action will encourage drop-offs at the Vicente Gate by roughly doubling drop-off capacity, and by eliminating the drop off zone in front of the school. | Tips and resources and an opportunity to share concerns with other parents. Parents will share concerns related to kindergarten and will learn how to recognize and respond to social, emotional and academic challenges children may encounter during this first year in elementary school. Maryellen Mullin, MA, MFTI - Maryellen Mullin, MA, MFTI is a Learning Support Professional (LSP) with the San Francisco Unified School District. Her clinical background is as a license eligible Marriage and Family Therapist. She provides individual and group therapy, teacher and family consultation, parent education and classroom behavioral support at the elementary school level. Ms. Mullin is excited to share her expertise with the Parents Place community.
