Hello. My name is Carol Fuerth, and I’m the new librarian at DFES. I’m very pleased to be here and look forward to working with all your children. I have been a librarian in SFUSD for 12 years.

 

I will be at DFES every Wednesday and Friday, and every other Monday. On these days, the library will be open before school beginning at 7:30 a.m., during lunch, and after school until 2:30 p.m. (except on Mondays). During lunch, students are welcome to use the computers, but must come before lunch to receive a computer pass from me. Students are welcome to browse or check out books during lunch without a pass.

 

Library contracts were given to parents/guardians during their conference time. If you have not done so already, please return the signed contract either to me or to your child’s teacher. This signed contract is necessary in order for your child to continue checking books out. If you need another contract, please come see me in the library.
