About the College and Career Center
The College and Career
Center is an information resource center of Washington High School's
Counseling Office.
Students and parents are welcome to visit and are encouraged to use the many
resources of the center. These include information on the following:
1. Colleges and universities
2. College-related guides and selection information
3. Career information
4. Financial aid and scholarships
5. Testing information (SAT, ACT, etc.)
6. Community service opportunities
7. Job listings
8. Local, national, and international summer programs
The Center hosts visits by college admissions officers from colleges and
universities throughout the country. Representatives from various summer
and intern programs also visit the center. The Center hosts yearly events
such as, Financial Aid Night and the Community College and Career Fair. For
the most current events and information see the College and Career Center
monthly bulletin.
