  Parents at GWHS

Parent engagement and involvement is at the heart of George Washington High School and has kept our students at the top of their game for generations.  GWHS has a very active parent community and we actively seek parent involvement.  Parent and community input is actively sought in the decision making process.  The PTSA, School Site Council, and English Language Advisory Committee and Richmond Village Beacon collaboratively meet with the principal and affect change at George Washington High School.

The GWHS community also acknowledges that parents are seeking social interactions and enrichment opportunities just as much as their children. Thanks to the support of GWHS the Richmond Village Beacon offers free classes and activities for parents and adults, such as fun filled family nights and evening adult courses.

We are here to serve the youth and their families.  Please do not hesitate to contact us or refer someone to the Beacon.  Feel free to contact us with any questions or comments you may have.  We look forward to meeting and getting to know you all!
